About Ask Sai Baba

A devotional space created by Sai devotees, for Sai devotees — and for every sincere seeker who turns toward Baba's light.

I am the slave of my devotee. I love devotion. He who sings my praises, I am his slave.

— Shirdi Sai Baba

Our Story

Ask Sai Baba (AskSaiBaba.com) was born from a simple, sincere need. A small group of Sai devotees from different parts of India — Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai — had each, independently, experienced the profound comfort of turning to Sai Prashnavali in moments of personal difficulty. Each had, in their own way, received an answer that felt too personal to be coincidence, too timely to be random, too loving to be mechanical.

When we found each other — through a devotional forum, as Baba would have it — we realised we shared a common frustration: there was no single online space for Sai Prashnavali that combined genuine authenticity with accessibility, that welcomed all faiths without condition, and that refused to sensationalise or commercialise Baba's sacred guidance.

We built AskSaiBaba.com to be that space.

What We Believe

We believe that Shirdi Sai Baba was — and, through his teachings, remains — one of the most compassionate spiritual presences the world has known. We believe his core message is as urgently relevant today as it was in Shirdi a century ago: that God is one, that love is the only true religion, and that every human being — regardless of background, belief, or behaviour — is worthy of grace.

We believe that Sai Prashnavali is a legitimate devotional tool when approached with sincerity. It is not a toy, not an entertainment, and not a substitute for personal responsibility. It is a channel of reflection — a way of bringing the wisdom of Baba's teachings to bear on the specific difficulties of a specific human life, in a specific moment of need.

Our Commitment to Authenticity

Every answer available through Ask Sai Baba has been carefully considered for alignment with Baba's actual teachings as documented in Sai Satcharitra and other verified devotional sources. We do not invent answers. We do not project our own spiritual opinions onto Baba's name. We do not make promises that Baba himself never made.

What we do promise — the only promise we are qualified to make — is this: every word on this website has been written with care, with respect, and with genuine devotion. If a word or an answer does not serve the sincere seeker, it does not belong here.

Inclusion: Baba's Most Important Teaching

Sai Baba's most radical and, we believe, most beautiful teaching was his absolute refusal to recognise barriers. His Dwarkamai mosque was home to people of all faiths. He performed Hindu rituals and observed Muslim practices with equal reverence. He turned no one away. He made no one feel less worthy of his attention.

Ask Sai Baba inherits that vision completely. This website is for Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, agnostics, and everyone else who feels drawn to Baba's light. No faith test. No background requirement. Baba's love has no borders, and neither does this website.

Disclaimer

AskSaiBaba.com is an independent devotional website. It is not affiliated with the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, any temple, religious trust, or official religious body. The answers provided through this website are offered as spiritual reflection tools based on Sai Baba's documented teachings. They are not predictions, medical advice, legal guidance, or financial recommendations. Please exercise your own judgment in all important life decisions, and consult qualified professionals for specific advice.

We also wish to be clear: Sai Prashnavali is a tool for inner reflection, not a replacement for prayer, personal effort, or professional guidance. Baba himself always combined his blessings with an expectation that his devotees would act rightly, live honestly, and work sincerely. Use this resource in that spirit.

Contact and Feedback

We welcome sincere feedback from devotees. If an answer does not feel aligned with Baba's teachings, if you have experienced something meaningful through this practice that you wish to share, or if you simply want to connect — we invite you to reach out through our Contact page.

This website belongs, in truth, to all of Baba's devotees. We are only its custodians.
